What is MOPS?
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers and it is a program designed to nurture mothers who are pregnant or who have children ages birth to pre-kindergarten. It’s a time where moms have a chance to connect with other moms & talk about things such as motherhood, parenting, and marriage. We meet the 1st & 3rd Tuesdays of every month from September - May from 9:15 - 11:30 am.
What is MOPPETS?
While the moms are meeting, their children are being cared for in our MOPPETS program. The younger children (birth-2) are being held & loved by volunteers in the nursery. The older children (ages 2-5) enjoy a preschool-like setting where they learn about God’s love for them through activities like Bible stories, games, crafts and music.
We all know that mothering is HARD work. It is both challenging and rewarding, but it can also be very draining. Life is filled with seasons of change, and mothering is no different. At MOPS, you will find lots of other women who are facing the same challenges that you face. As MOPS moms, we can support & assure each other that “You are not alone.” We invite you to join us and find out how wonderful it is to be a part of a community of mothers!
