Rock Solid (K-6th Grade)
Rock Solid First Hour (9:00 am)
The quality of programming continues in the lower floor of the church that has been transformed into a medieval castle. This castle houses our k-6th grade programming. Broken down into 6 age specific classrooms and headed by an outstanding bunch of faithful ministry partners (mentors), children come to enjoy a time of building relationships with each other and their ministry partners as they learn more about and grow in a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
The programming uses a large group/small group format in which children spend time in their classrooms prior to the start of the service. They then head to the gym (worship area) for some announcements, worship, games, Bible memory and extras. Then we transition back to their room where their ministry partners share a dynamic action packed lesson with them.
Group K - Group 4 are building upon truths that were initially presented in preschool and cover Old and New Testament accounts in developmentally appropriate lessons. Groups 5 & 6 spend time "grappling" with faith questions such as "Is Jesus who He says He is?" They can use them to understand their faith better and be able to share it with others.
