With the desire to shepherd with love and care for our neighbors, First Baptist New Castle will not be meeting physically for the forseeable future. Instead we will be meeting via Livestream each Sunday at 11:15am. To access this please navigate to Resources tab > Watch Livestream or click here.

Our office is closed during the week as well, but tithes and offerings will continue to be processed. Additionally all mail will continue to be received and picked up throughout the week. For any questions regarding the office please contact Jan Weaver at (724) 944-1760

What To Expect On Sunday

Considering a visit?

Are you considering a visit to First Baptist Church? Great! We would love to see you here. Have some questions? Here are answers to a few of the more common ones.

Where is the church building located?

First Baptist Church of New Castle is located at 984 West Maitland Lane, New Castle, PA 16105. The main entrance is on the opposite side of the Maitland Lane parking lot entrance.

What time does the service start?

Sunday services are at 9:00AM and 10:45AM.

What should I wear?

We are a pretty casual church. There is no dress code.

What is the worship style?

Our worship style is contemporary with a worship leader, background vocalists, and a worship band.

What about my kids?

We have excellent nursery services and preschool/children's programs during both services. You can check-in all your elementary age and younger children using our secure electronic check-in system as you enter the main entrance. Jr. High School Student Ministry meets during the first services in the Youth Ministry Center, which is a separate building, but still attached to the same parking lot area. Sr. High students are encouraged to participate in the adult services in the main sanctuary.

What if someone in my family has special needs?

If you have family with special needs, we would love to serve you. Please ask for our Special Needs Ministry at the Welcome Center when you arrive.

Will I be pressured to give any money?

No. While we encourage the people who regularly attend FBC to give toward the continuation of its ministry, your presence is your contribution. In fact, if you stop by the Welcome Center during your visit, we'd love to greet you personally and give you a special gift.
